Early remains of the genus Homo in Asia

Members of the species Homo erectus, shortly after their emergence (geologically speaking) form populations that inhabit not only the African area, but for the first time they leave Africa and inhabit the area of Europe and Asia.

The first evidence of settlement and migration outside of Africa can be found on the territory of today's Georgia, at the site of Dmanisi. Shortly after the members of the genus Homo from Dmanisi, in the very east of Asia, in the territory of present-day China, we recognize hominin stone tools, and then the fossil remains of the hominins themselves in the territories of present-day China and Indonesia.
