After Professor Barić, his students continued the research of Trepča mineral paragenesis, especially Vladimir Zebec, the long-time manager of the Collection, who published several scientific papers on this topic, dealing primarily with the succession of crystallisation of sulphide minerals and their oriented growths.

The results of many years of work on professional and scientific processing of museum specimens of minerals from Trepča, together with the corresponding catalogue of the Collection, have been combined and presented in 2012. in the monograph by Vladimir Zebec: Trepča / Stari Trg – Minerals of the Trepča Mine / Stari Trg. Catalogue of the Trepča collection / Stari Trg of the Croatian Museum of Natural History in Zagreb.
